Halyburton Legal was founded in Toronto, NSW in 1994 with a simple purpose: to give Lake Macquarie families and businesses access to the kind of quality legal advice that had previously required a trip to Newcastle or Sydney.
Over three decades, we've grown steadily — adding offices in Warners Bay and Belmont to serve more of the region — but we've never lost sight of what makes us different. We know our clients by name. We answer calls personally. We speak plainly.

Halyburton Legal opens its first office at 20 The Boulevarde, Toronto, with a focus on conveyancing and wills for local families.
Family Law practice established
As demand grew, we expanded our practice to include family law — separation, divorce, and parenting matters — bringing specialist expertise to the region.
Warners Bay office opens
Our second office opens in Warners Bay, making it easier for clients on the eastern shores of Lake Macquarie to access our services.
Belmont office established
